My IPOL went pretty well, I thought that I did a good job of trying to explain everything I did as well as trying to keep a lot of it secret because I’m not allowed to give any details and specific information to people who are not required to know that information. I gave my IPOL on the last day of internship at about 10:33 am to my advisor Dan Allen and about 4 sophomores from my advisory. Also in the Audience was the head of all the volunteers who work with the Attorney's Office, Jonathan. As well as one of my other mentors Veda Johnson who just got promoted to be the direct secretary to the City Attorney herself Mara Elliot. So it was a pretty nerve racking experience seeing two important people in the audience, and it made me a lot more nervous about my presentation because I didn't want to give any information that isn't true. But I got over it and gave my presentation, it was about how this time at internship changed the way I go about school and how this is going to change how I look at jobs in the future, as well as all the things that I have learned and the experiences I have gained during the time.
The experience of giving a presentation to influential people is really, really great and awful at the same time. Yes, if you do a great job there could be possible job opportunities for you in the future, but if you do a bad job you disappoint all the people who worked hard to teach you and give experiences during your time at internship. So a lot of things weigh you down, but after my presentation I was given applause's and “Great Job” by everyone. You might be nervous at the beginning and all the way through your presentation, but if you personally know that you worked hard on your presentation and serpent a lot of time practicing, the reward is a lot greater.
