The cellular life project went on for 3 weeks, but those 3 weeks were filled with hardcore biology content. We start the project off by learning about the basic parts of cells and their functions. We took it a bit further by closely examining 7 different types of cells. Some those cells were Onion, Eola, Cheek, and Potato cells.
While we were closely observing the cells we started with the next part of the project was the Photomicrography portion. We chose our coolest cell that we examined and took pictures of it. The last step to the project (Besides the test) was creating our own article about any cell that interested us. This could be any cell of any organism in the world. I decided to choose the Ganglion Cell. If you want to know more scroll all the way down and read the Article!
I learned a lot during this project, I feel as though biology is one of the more enjoyable classes I've had in my high school career.
This class is one of the more important subjects to me due to my college major. We expanded and advanced on our Writing, Note Taking, and organization skills.
Overall this project has been really beneficial to myself and my goals for school.
