The Demystifying Disease Project cover s a wide variety of different disease that most commonly affect humans. Ranging from Diabetes, Alzheimers, and Drug addiction. Those are only just a couple from the elven total diseases that we picked. This project covered both the biology and humanities portion of class, because we wanted to investigate how diseases affect both the human body and communities. It was an amazing project that enlighten myself and my group members in ways that will change how I think about the future. My group and I were tasked with investigating Drug Addiction, and performing interviews as well as growing and building our understanding as to the affects and why drug addiction is a disease. I feel as thought this is project is significant to me personally, becuase I have an idea on what to look out for and ways to avoid Drugs.
- I think the most significant learning experience that I've gone through would have to be our interview with a private therapist. He was super insightful and I felt like I walked away wiser than I did going into it. I gained a lot more knowledge about drug addiction and how their are tons of different ways to treat drug addiction, but not all of them work.
- I think our groups infographic represents mine, and our groups best work. It shows hard work and how well we take critique and incorporate it into our new product. It also shows a determination to finish it on time without missing the deadline. When we first started it we were very unsure whether or not we would make the deadline or not, but I'm proud to say that we did.
- The most challenging portion of this project was definitely the journalism page. We had to conduct an interview and then transcribe it after words, which was horrible and aggravating. Unlike my group members my interview was a bit harder to build into a journalism page, because unlock my other group members whose interviewees were hardcore drug dealers which could give a lot of advice and story, mine was just a therapist. Overall it was still really good information, I just had a harder time trying to put it into a story.
- The one thing that stuck with him during this whole project, is hwo easy it is to become addicted to drugs. Only one mistake can lead to a windy road of unhappiness. The fact that a one time thing can literally change your life forever. I'm glad that I was able to understand that the risk is higher then the reward when it comes down to drugs.

The Document up above is my literary document, which is about the person I interviewed, and the purpose was to share his story.
The point of doing an infographic ways to organize and present the most important information that we've learned in a simple and fun way. The infographic was in my opinion one of the hardest parts of this whole project.
The pictures above represent the Dissection series we did that was connected with the Demystifying Disease project. We looked at cow eyes, sheep hearts, and sheep brains. Some of the commonly affected parts of the body that are affected by different diseases.
